The Nha Trang-Vietnam International Sea and Island Tourism Fair 2013 will take place in the beautiful coastal city of Nha Trang of central Khanh Hoa province from June 8-10, according to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
This is the first international thematic fair on sea and island tourism that has been organised in Vietnam, as part of the 2013 Nha Trang Sea Festival which will be from June 8-11, the organisers said.
The fair will introduce Vietnam’s best marine tourism products and services to foreign partners, who have registered from such countries with strong tourism as Portugal, France, Russia, Australia, and Spain.
The fair will also feature a special session of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Tourism Marketing Task Force and a gathering of domestic and foreign businesses.
Within the fair’s framework, two seminars will be held on June 9. They are “Cruise ship travel in Vietnam” held by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), and “Development of tourism products of Central Costal Region of Vietnam” by the Central Research and Development Fund.
Located 440km from Ho Chi Minh City, the first-class charming coastal city of Nha Trang has been long well-known for its attractive beaches on nearly 10km of white-sand coastline, where the clear waters are warm throughout the year.
As many as 19 islands in Nha Trang Bay along with various cultural beautiful sites promise to satisfy domestic and international tourists. Today, Nha Trang’s beaches rank among the top beaches in the country
