The 2024 Nha Trang International Bays of Lights Festival with the theme “Glittering Galaxy” is expected to be held every Saturday, for 4 weeks, from June 29 to July 20, 2024.
This idea was formed after the artistic light performance with 1,653 drones at the Opening Ceremony of the Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2023.
But this year, to make the artistic light performance more attractive, the event will feature the participation of 4 drone performance teams from Vietnam, China, India, and South Korea.
Each competition night will have 2 competing teams performing according to their own separate themes, including:
- Opening Ceremony and the first competition night (June 29 evening) with the theme “Vietnam Welcomes – Hello Vietnam”
- The 2nd competition night (July 6 evening) with the theme “Glorious Ocean”
- The 3rd competition night (July 13 evening) with the theme “Stories of Heritage Land”
- The closing ceremony and awards presentation (July 20 evening) with the theme “Nha Trang in Glamour”.
Each performance night will last 90 minutes, in which each team will perform for about 15-20 minutes per night (a minimum of 1,000 drones per team). Particularly, each performance night will have a music program with performances by famous singers.
