The 2013 Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Day Festival got underway at the 23/9 Park in District 1 on April 4 to improve professionalism in tourism activities.
Themed “Trademark-Integration-Development”, the three-day event is an opportunity for travel businesses to promote their new and attractive products and services to customers, therefore stimulating domestic tourism demand, said La Quoc Khanh, deputy director of the municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Department.
Eighty travel companies are displaying their products in 120 booths, some of which introduce to visitors the traditional cuisines of regions across the country as well as delicious international food.
