On arrival at Bangkok Airport, you are met and transferred to hotel.
The glorious history of Thai Capital, Bangkok is much interwoven with the Chakri Dynasty which still reigns but no longer rules Thailand.
Checking in to the hotel and free to relaxing
After breakfast we tours visit to Royal Grand Palace, dedicated to the Thai Royal Family’s ceremony. In the same compound is the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, which is famous for the Emerald Buddha Image.
After visit these complex we followed by visit to Wat Pho a house gigantic Reclining Buddha. We will board on a long tail boat trip along the Chao Phraya River and the many lively inner canals which offer some fantastic views of the local life close up. Along the way we make stopover at Wat Arun, the temple of Dawn , before lunch at a floating restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will drive visit the Wat Traimit is well known as the Golden Buddha.
Return to hotel and free for relaxing.
Early morning we drive to the south- west of Bangkok, visit to local market at Samut Songkhram before driving to Damnoen Saduak a rural floating market.
We will stop to visit board on a long tail boat ride along the water way to the picturesque floating market of Damnoen Saduak.
Then we continue onto Kanchanaburi Town. Upon arrival we will visit to the memorial of the World War II including of Jeath War Museum, Cemetary.
Lunch at a floating restaurant beside the Bridge Over the River Kwai.
We drive continuing to Tiger Temple in the afternoon, to visit the home of wild tigers, and where the tiger you can see close and touchable.
After enjoy an exciting with the tigers we continue to Wang Pho for feeding wild monkey.
Then, board on the train ride along death railway to the town for overnight.
Today we drive via Suphanburi to the former capital city of Siam, Ayutthaya.
The ancient city of Ayutthaya is known as the “Venice of the East” due to the fact that it lies along the Chao Phraya River , the tributaries of which surround Ayutthaya province.
The glory of the Ayutthaya Empire (1350-1767A.D.) is evident in the remains of temples such as Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Chai Wattanaram, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol.
We lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, continue to Bang Pa In to visit the Royal Summer Palace.
Overnight in Ayutthaya.
Depart Ayutthaya early today and drive directly to Phitsanulok.
Short stop at Wat Mahathat in Phitsanulok to visit a beautiful Phra Buddha Chinnarat, and then visit to Sergeant-Major Dr.Thawee BuranaKhet Folklore Museum this museum is well known for its collection of folk arts, crafts, basketry, pottery and ancient kitchen utensils. There are also many agricultural and household instruments displayed.
We continue towards the first capital for Thailand (then Siam), founded in the 13th century. The superb palaces, temples and monuments of this great city have been lovingly restored in Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see for all travelers. The tours including statues, Buddha images and old celadon found within the old city. Important sites inside the old city walls include : Wat Mahathat the Royal temple with a giant chedi built to house Buddha relics brought from Sri Lanka; Wat Sri Sawai with its three Hindu –style prangs; Wat Traphang Thong in the centre of a large pond and its Buddha Footprint; Wat Sa Si, an attractive temple on connecting islands with a large Singhalese Chedi. Wat Traphang Ngoen on the Silver Lake is the scene of the Loi Krathong festival.
In the evening we transfer to Wat Traphang Ngoen on the Silver Lake to join festival of Loi Krathong including local food in festival site.
After breakfast we tour to visit a site of Srisatchanalai the northern outpost town of the kingdom of Sukhothai, built by King Ramkamhaeng.
Visit to the Sri Satchanalai Historical Park as well as Wat Phara Sri Rattana Maha Dhat, Which stands on the site of the Khmer fort, called “Chalieng”
Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, we continue drive to Lampang. On arrival visit Lampang Luang Pagoda one of the North’s finest temples. The chedi towers above surrounding trees. To the left of the chedi is a viharn with a carved wood facade and double – level roofs. Harmonious proportions and exquisite interior decoration make Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang one of the best examples of Northern – style religious.
We drive to the city to enjoy riding on horse cart around the town before check in at hotel and free at leisure.
After breakfast, next visit the oldest temples at Wat Phrathat Lampang Luang provides an old Lanna or Burmese architectures.
Late morning we heading to Chiang Mai along the way stop to visit Daan Kwian local market where you can found wild animal meats such as deer snake, etc.
The drives continue to Lamphun; the twin city of Chiang Mai .
We visit Phrathat Hariphunchai one of the most sacred for Thais and also a beautiful pagoda.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
Then we drive onto Chiang Mai passing the old road through a thousand of big trees over 100 year’s old.
Arrived in Chiang Mai checking to hotel and free to relaxing on your own.
Today we explore this charming town with drive to the famous Doi Suthep Mountain, leading us to Wat Phrathat Temple near the summit. At an elevation of over 1,000 meters, this temple grounds afford a panoramic view over the surrounding countryside. We follow this with a visit to the old and new parts of the town featuring the great diversity.
The “Rose of the North”, Chiang Mai has been always noted for exquisite handicrafts whose the combination with the traditional wares of the hill tribe people offers fantastic shopping opportunities.
Heading out of town we drive to the neighboring villages of Sankampaeng and Borsarng to see the various cottages industries including silk weaving, wood carving, silver ware and umbrellas making. O/N in Chiang Mai.
The exciting adventure begins as we depart the town and drive through the breathtaking mountain landscape to Mae Hong Son.
Along the way we make stop over at Mae Sa Elephant training center before we head towards Pai. There is plenty to see in this beautiful area, some of which are the Lisu Hilltribe Village, the Lahu Hilltribe Village.
We arrived in Pai, and check in at resort. After check in Free for relaxing.
We follow this with a trip to Maehongson and stop at Fish Cave where thousands of carps live an undisturbed life.
Then next stop for relaxing at Pooklon Country Club for Mud Spa and natural mineral bath ( 3 hours)
Upon arrival in Mae Hongson city & tenples tours before check in at hotel.
Overnight in Maehongson.
After breakfast we will drive to the Karen hill tribe village of Ban Nai Soi. At this small village we change our transport when we take a short but exciting elephant ride through the unspoiled forest to the Padong hill tribe village. This ethnic group still retains their old age cultural traditions as most of women attempt to have long neck by wearing numerous brass rings around their neck from an early age.
We will embark on a longtail boat for a leisurely trip downstream on the Pai River which also provides us a taste of the tranquil countryside and an interesting view of rural life close up.
Then continue drive to Chiang Mai. Overnight in Chiang Mai
