China Delights in 10 Days

Our guide will meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport after you retrieve your luggage and clear the customs, and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city. Night at hotel.

Today, we will visit the grandeur Tiananmen Square, the majestic Forbidden City . Tiananmen Square is the largest city center square in the world. This place was originally built during Ming dynasty in 1415 and there were many political events happened at Tiananmen Square since then. Only 5 minutes drive from the square, the Forbidden City is one of the most well-preserved wooden constructions of the world. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven.

In the morning, we will visit one of the eight world wonders, the Great Wall. We will spend our time in Badaling, which is the best-preserved part.

In the afternoon, your visit will continue to the Sacred Way and Ming Tomb. On the way back to our hotel, we will drive by the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance. Overnight at hotel.

On your last day in Beijing, we will set off to the well-preserved Summer Palace and taking a Hutong rickshaw tour. Then head to Xian by a high-speed train and our private transfer will take you to the hotel.

In the morning, our guide will accompany you to visit the Terracotta Warriors, the world’s largest underground military museum. It was constructed as a funerary art to accompany Qin Shi Huang’s tomb, the first emperor of China. You will see 8,000 terracotta sculptures of soldiers here. These terracotta warriors were served as the emperor’s afterlife guard.

Next, you will visit the Provincial History Museum and Great Mosque. Continue the trip to the Muslim Street. Overnight at hotel.

In the morning, our guide will accompany you to the City Wall. We suggest you rent a bike to fully discover this place. After that, you will be taken to Xian Museum and another ancient landmark of the Tang Dynasty, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a delicate Buddhist site surviving from the Tang Dynasty.

Afterward, we drive back to downtown and enjoy a la carte lunch at a local family. It is a great time for you to enjoy delicious homemade foods and learn to cook some Chinese dishes.

We will take a flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival, our guide will transfer you to the hotel.

Take a cruise down Li River to the atmospheric Yangshuo town. You can take some photos of romantic view with idyllic gardens and fields along the banks. The cruise lasts 4 hours and you will reach Yangshuo at around 14:00. Feel free to experience the farmer’s lifestyle there along the way. In the late afternoon, we will transfer you back to Guilin. Overnight at hotel.

Your included sightseeing today is to visit the brilliant Reed Flute Cave – the Palace of Natural Arts, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Then you will take a flight to Shanghai and our private transfer will take you to the hotel. You will have free time to discover Shanghai.

In the morning, you will visit Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After enjoying the terrific lunch, you will take a short cruise trip on Huangpu River, the mother river of the city. Along two sides of the river, you will witness the city’s past through many European buildings on the west and marvel at the city’s modernity and rapid development on the east. Then you will have some free time to explore the Bund area.

You will be transferred to the airport and take a flight back home. Thank you for traveling with us!
